1400s

As summer fades into fall and thoughts turn to getting the kids to school on time and the coming holidays, contributing to a worthy cause tends to fall down the list of priorities. This was not the case for the 1400′s as word of the organization has grown. In September, 1400′s received over $1,000 in from friends and anonymous contributions:

• A nurse in North Dakota donated $100 after learning about the 1400′s from a board member. “A few weeks (after telling her about the 1400′s), she handed me a check and said she had been thinking about what we are doing and really liked what it was all about.”
• A local bar owner decided to donate a portion of revenue generated from an entertainment video game to the 1400′s.  Her contribution totaled $400.
• A mother familar with the 1400′s and the people involved with it contributed $200 “because she thinks it is so great what we are doing.”
• An anonymous contribution totaling $400 arrived lated in the month and we would like to take this moment to thank them.

1400′s is dedicated to assisting those who, due to extuanating circumstances, are unable to fend for themselves or provide for their families.  Support is provided in the form of monetary stipends or equipment, depending on the unique needs of the case.
